I would like to share with you a curious situation I encountered at the airport the other day. I am uncertain of what to make of it.

I was attempting to board an airplane. Once my ticket was purchased, and I learned the location of my gate, I made my way there quietly and did my best not stand out. I do not wish to attract unnecessary attention during my stay on this planet, and I have found that when people notice my reflective metal body and point at me, it is best if I ignore them and continue moving. Recently, I have found that a large number of humans will approach me and ask if I am making a movie. I do not understand the question, but I have found that telling them "Yes I am." usually pacifies the curious men and women and will allow me to continue with my task.

I became concerned when I approached a security check-point and found myself waiting in line in front of a machine that the humans referred to as a metal detector. I was alarmed at first since my body is composed entirely out of metal components, and I was unsure of what their scans might do to my internal circuitry. The alarm I felt was nothing compared to the surprise I experienced when the someone was caught carrying what I believe was a weapon.

They called it a shoe-horn. It appeared to be brass plated, and it elicited enough fear and concern from the airport police to warrant a violent response. While I stood there watching the four uniformed humans beat the perpetrator into submission, I became concerned with what their reaction might have been had they discovered that I was not a "movie maker", but rather an emissary from a race of superior mechanical beings intent on conquering the Earth. Even though I possessed the strength and power necessary to subdue or de-activate everyone in the building, I ultimately decided not to draw attention to myself.

Besides, I am not yet aware of the damage that might be caused by a shoe-horn, and I did not believe it wise to damage the airport police when they had one in their possession. Strangely enough, I have been using my Data Up-link terminal to investigate the elusive "shoe-horn" so I can understand it's damage potential. I have not found anything yet.

Please advise.
